Draft for review. Operator details and provider information in square brackets must be completed before the website launches. This page describes the initial theme configuration and needs updating if services change.
Prepared: October 11, 2026. Effective date: [Confirm before launch].
1. What this policy covers
Cookies are small pieces of information stored in a browser. Similar technologies include local storage. This policy describes the initial Yumnivo Style theme. Hosting, security, or later-installed plugins may introduce additional technologies; the operator must verify those before launch and whenever the site changes.
2. Current visitor-facing storage
ys_consent_v1 is a first-party local-storage record written when you save a cookie choice. It contains a consent version, the time of your choice, and an analytics preference. It expires after 180 days and is removed or renewed on a later visit. It is used to remember privacy choices, not to build advertising profiles. With no optional service configured, the initial theme does not show an intrusive consent banner, but Cookie Settings remain available in the footer.
3. WordPress and administrative cookies
WordPress may use essential login, authentication, and administration cookies for users who sign in. Examples include wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, and wp-settings-* cookies. They are not needed merely to read an ordinary public article. Lifetimes vary by session, login choice, and configuration. Administrator preview tools may also use preview cookies. Exact hosting or security cookies and durations: [Verify in the deployed environment].
4. Analytics cookies
No analytics measurement ID is configured initially. If Google Analytics 4 is enabled later, its script will remain blocked until you consent to analytics. Google Analytics commonly uses _ga and _ga_* cookies; exact names, durations, settings, and provider information must be recorded before enabling the integration. Declining analytics does not prevent you from reading the site.
5. Advertising and preferences
The initial theme does not load Google AdSense, advertising pixels, or marketing cookies. Advertising controls therefore show “Not enabled.” No optional preference cookies are set by the theme beyond the privacy-choice record described above. If advertising is introduced, the operator must add the appropriate consent platform and disclose the real providers and purposes; this theme alone is not a certified advertising consent-management platform.
6. Change or withdraw a choice
Select Cookie Settings in the footer to reopen your choices. When optional analytics is configured, you can accept, reject non-essential use, or customize analytics. Rejecting a previously enabled analytics choice updates consent, attempts to remove the standard accessible Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page without loading analytics. Browser settings can also remove stored data. Choices apply to this browser and device; deleting site storage means the site cannot remember your previous choice.
7. Providers, contact, and changes
Current theme provider: Yumnivo Style, https://style.yumnivo.com. Hosting and security provider inventory: [Confirm]. Optional analytics and advertising: not configured at initial build. Public privacy contact: [Email address]. Read the Privacy Policy for more information about personal data. The operator should update both policies when integrations change.
